Ted E. Furniss specializes in developing and managing customized investment portfolios for high net-worth clients based on their unique parameters for risk, return, and liquidity. His extensive career in portfolio management and equity research provides great insight as he creates well-diversified portfolios designed to meet the evolving needs of each client.

Before co-founding Inlet Private Wealth®, Ted served as a portfolio manager and equity researcher for Wilmington Trust’s fundamental equity team. He was also a senior portfolio manager with Brown Brothers Harriman in Palm Beach, Florida, director of research for Philadelphia Investment Partners, and vice president with P.R. Herzig & Co. in New York.

Ted is a CFA Charterholder and earned a Master of Business Administration degree with distinction from the University of Oxford, Magdalen College, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mississippi State University with a dual bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance.

Previously serving on the board of the CFA Society of South Florida, Ted is a member of the Oxford Business Alumni Association and a former member of the Professional Golfer’s Association of America.
